Watching the Zamboni

One of the things that Dexter was most excited about for the visit to Winter Wonderland was ice skating. He was completely surprised, however, to see the Zamboni cleaning the ice.

When the Zamboni passed by him, Dex covered his ears insisting that the nearly silent Zamboni was "too loud".

Carousel

I took Dex on the carousel. It wasn't as thrilling as the tilt-a-whirl but we enjoyed it.

The Germ Pit

Dex was in the germ pit before I could distract him. He had a blast diving into the germy balls,

tossing the germy balls around,

and carrying armloads of germy balls around. When he woke up this morning complaining of an upset tummy and then throwing up, all I could think of was the germ pit at Winter Wonderland!

Candy Cane Tunnels

Before we even got to Winter Wonderland Dexter was talking about candy cane tunnels. He said he saw them on a commercial. Sure enough, there were candy cane tunnels.

Sure enough, Dex was all about running through them.
