We had a nice afternoon at Proksa Park (1 block from our house). Dexter danced with Mommy to a reggae band and a enjoyed his first experience with the swings (see previous post for video) and slides at the playground, watched a ball game and some baby ducks with their Mommy in a pond, and got to "drive" the maintenance guy's John Deere Gator.

Hey Mom...this is terrific. Here I am sliding down a slide and running a Tractor and I am only 8 months old!....COOOL!!!!! Can we do that again sometime?
From what I have heard about my Great Grandfather Wester who is no longer with us but in our hearts, he would be out there playing and playing and playing with my Mommy EVERY DAY WHEN HE VISITED HER IN NY! He used to play with you and my Grandma Fowler...that was his daughter, so get with the playing on those tractors and slides and swings Mommy and Daddy..OK????
