Holding It Together

Tomorrow, Dexter will take his very first airplane ride to visit his Grandparents in Maine. He is beyond excited about the whole thing. While I am excited to visit with family and friends, I am terrified of flying. Ben won't be with us on this trip and I am doing my best not to let Dexter see any of my anxiety about flying. Maybe it will be a distraction for me to be taking care of Dexter. Maybe I'll even find a way to enjoy the flight by experiencing it through his eyes.  It's going to be hard considering the fact that I need to focus my energy on keeping the plane in the air with my brain...
