Dexy likes to make vehicles with legos. He also likes to describe (in detail) the features and functions of his creations. Elissa likes to hear Dexter describe his creations.
A little while back, Dexy made this lego car and as he began describing
it to me, I said, "You know who really likes when you describe your
vehicles to her is Elissa." Immediately, Dexy asked, "Can we call her?" I
dialed the number and put the phone on speaker.
As soon as she picked up the phone and said hello, Dex was on a
roll describing his car with no roof and the bumpers and the
engine and the grill and the spoiler and the blinkers and
brake lights. When he paused for a minute, Elissa said, "Is this
Dexter?"
Turns out Elissa happened to have had a rough morning supporting a
friend through a very difficult health issue and she said Dexter's call
lightened her mood and brightened her day. I love when things work out
like that. As Elissa requested, I'm posting photos of the vehicle.
