The actual first day of kindergarten was a different story. The weather was stormy and Dexter's sunny disposition was overcast with a little anxiety. Still, he put on a brave face. We managed to get a picture of him in his first day of kindergarten outfit...
and walking under the umbrella to school but when we got there, it was a
chaotic scene. Dex was shuttled through the front door so fast I
barely had a chance to say good-bye and I didn't have a chance to take a
picture.
We did manage to get a shot of him when we picked him up and he still had his brave face on. The teacher said he did "great" but I think she was as overwhelmed as the new kindergartners - hopefully they figure it out together.
