Party!

It was a lovely afternoon - full of food, friends, children, music, bubbles, and sunshine.  We almost accomplished total surprise except that Ben drove home from a different direction and My Bologna and I didn't hear him drive into the garage.  When Ben came into the backyard from the garage, nobody noticed him at first!  Surprise was on us.

Happy Birthday Surprise

In order to not give away the surprise with balloons or any other indicator out front, we directed partygoers to the backyard with a chalk sign on the sidewalk (something Ben couldn't see driving by).
