Banjo Cake!

I am so thankful that Elissa got this awesome picture of the banjo cake!  It took a lot of energy to bake all the banjo cake pieces and hide them without Dexter or Ben noticing.  I was sure the sweet smell emanating from the bookcase in the study would give it away but (luckily?) Ben's sinus problems interfere with his ability to smell!  Dexter was shocked on Sunday morning after Daddy left for his church gig when I explained that now we were going to make a banjo cake for Daddy's surprise birthday party and began pulling cake pieces out of the bookcase.
