Backyard Garden Bounty

This year, we tried carrots.

 Ben and Dex needed to use tools to get them out of the ground

 but they were so tasty so the efforts were well worth it!

Tomatoes in abundance - we're making salsa like maniacs

and eating them straight off the vine like apples.

Jammin' Play Date

Dex and T collaborated on some music-making.

They had a blast and made some decent sounds, too!

Grampy's Puzzle

Dex sent both of his grandfathers special Father's Day cards this year. He drew a vehicle and then cut it into pieces so they could put together the puzzle.  Both grandfathers really enjoyed doing the puzzles.  A couple of weeks later, Dex received a package in the mail - it was a puzzle that Grampy made for him!  Dex loved putting it together and reading the note from Grampy (doing both of these things mostly all by himself).
